Stephen Semlitz, '76
Parker Center Advisory BoardOne of the two founding Managing Directors of Hetco, he was a partner of Goldman Sachs & Co., where he was co-head of the J. Aron energy trading business (1985-96). Previously he was involved in running the precious metals trading and money trading desks for J. Aron. He was responsible for managing the building of Eurosplitter, a condensate refinery in Rotterdam, and J. Aron Resources, a Canadian natural gas producing company, which was a joint venture with Paramount Resources. He also served on the Goldman Sachs Energy Investment Committee and Technology Board.
Mr. Semlitz is a member of the New York Mercantile Exchange. He previously worked for Citibank, NA in the New York Banking Division, where he was responsible for numerous areas of bank processing and technology development. He received his MBA (1976) and BA (1975) degrees at Cornell University.
