Facilities

Robert S. Boas Trading Room
Student Portfolio Managers use the Robert S. Boas Trading Room, a 32-seat classroom with sophisticated analytical software and online data feeds valued at more than $1.8 million in annual licensing fees.

In 2005, Marjorie Boas Levins generously renewed her support of the Parker Center by sponsoring the purchase of 25 new computers for the facility to replace the existing set.

In 2008, Intel Corporation generously sponsored the purchase of 33 new Dell computers for the Trading Room, doubling the number of workstations.

The Richard A. Marin Family Investment Studio
Since the Boas Trading Room is frequently in use for classes, fund managers have exclusive use of the Marin Family Investment Studio. Its work stations are equipped with the same software and datafeeds as the Boas Trading Room.

These facilities enable students to perform analyses using highly sophisticated professional software, including conducting in-depth research on individual stocks and bonds, markets and worldwide economic trends.
