MBA Stock Pitch Competition Keynote Luncheon Speaker

Joel Tillinghast is a vice president and portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States, the No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans and a leading online brokerage firm. He manages Fidelity Low-Priced Stock Fund and co-manages another fund available exclusively to Canadian investors.

Mr. Tillinghast joined Fidelity in 1986 as an analyst covering the tobacco, coal, natural gas, personal care products and appliance industries. He later served as portfolio assistant on Fidelity OTC Portfolio. Mr. Tillinghast began managing Fidelity Low-Priced Stock Fund in 1989.

Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Tillinghast spent four years as a financial futures research analyst at Drexel Burnham Lambert in Chicago. He began his investment career in 1980 as an equity analyst with Value Line Investment Survey.

Mr. Tillinghast received a bachelor of arts degree in economics from Wesleyan University, in Connecticut, in 1980 and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University in 1983.

Mr. Tillinghast is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Christine Fuchs, CFA
Vice President and Associate Director, Global Industry Research, Wellington Management

Christine is the associate director of Global Industry Research, an investment group comprised of senior fundamental researchers and the various functions that support bottom-up analyses, stock picking, and investment across a universe of publicly traded equity securities. She is the associate lead for a team of nearly 100 professionals who follow close to 3,000 stocks and directly manage $100 billion of client assets.

Christine was named to her current role in January 2006 after nearly ten years as a global industry analyst at Wellington Management, covering household products, cosmetics, and packaged food stocks. In that capacity, she also managed a portion of the firm's research-managed portfolios as well as Global Consumer Staples sector portfolios for institutional clients.

Christine earned her MBA from the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton, 1996) and her BA in economics and management, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, from Beloit College (1991). She holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute.

Pamela Hegarty
Vice President, State Street Global Advisors
Pam is a research analyst within the Global Fundamental Strategies Group at SSGA, where she covers technology stocks. Prior to joining the firm in May 2005, Pam was a senior analyst and the global team leader for the technology sector at Baring Asset Management (2003-2005), and a senior analyst at Janus Capital Group (1995-2003). She also has six years operational experience working in the software and electronic equipment industries. Pam received an MBA from Cornell University in 1992 and a BA in Applied Mathematics from Harvard University in 1987.

Judah S. Kraushaar, '80
Managing Partner, Roaring Brook Capital
Judah S. Kraushaar is the managing partner of Roaring Brook Capital L.P., a long/short equity investment partnership based in White Plains, New York. He is also co-author (with Sandy Weill) of a recently published book entitled, "The Real Deal-My Life in Business And Philanthropy."

Mr. Kraushaar has enjoyed many years working on Wall Street. From 1989 until 2003, Mr. Kraushaar served as a First Vice President in Merrill Lynch's Equity Research Department. Mr. Kraushaar headed the company's global research team for the financial services industry and specialized in Banks, Broker Dealers, and Asset Management Companies. From 1991 to 2002, he earned top honors in Institutional Investor Magazine's All-America Research Team Survey, Greenwich Research's annual survey of Institutional Investors, and the annual survey of leading analysts conducted by the Wall Street Journal. He has also been cited for his professional accomplishments by Fortune and Bloomberg Magazines. Mr. Kraushaar has been a repeat guest on Louis Rukeyser's Wall Street Week television program and has frequently appeared on other business television programs as well as having been quoted extensively in the print media.

Mr. Kraushaar began his career as a consultant for Chase Econometrics in 1980. In 1983, he took his first job on Wall Street in the Strategic Planning Department of Merrill Lynch Capital Markets (the firm's investment banking and institutional business). A year later, he moved to Merrill Lynch's Equity Research Department and covered Banks in the southern portion of the US. In 1987, Mr. Kraushaar accepted a position as lead Regional Bank analyst at Morgan Stanley where he worked for two years before being recruited back to Merrill Lynch to head the global financial services team.

Mr. Kraushaar was born on April 9, 1958 and was raised in Northern Virginia. He is an active alumnus of Cornell University where he earned his BA and MBA degrees. He is past president of the Bank & Financial Analysts Association, a professional group composed of investment analysts and portfolio managers covering the financial services sector. In addition, Mr. Kraushaar serves on the Executive Committee of The American Jewish Committee, a well known human relations organization which promotes democracy, mutual understanding, and tolerance between people of different faiths and ethnicities. He also serves on the board of trustees for Commentary Magazine. Mr. Kraushaar is a lover of agriculture and markets beef and cut-your-own Christmas trees at his farm in Dutchess County, New York.

Mr. Kraushaar and his wife, Michele, reside in Westchester County, New York with their three children.

Lawrence D. Rakers
Vice President and Portfolio Manager, Fidelity Investments

Larry Rakers is a vice president and portfolio manager for Fidelity Investments, the largest mutual fund company in the United States, the No. 1 provider of workplace retirement savings plans and a leading online brokerage firm. He manages Fidelity Balanced Fund, Fidelity Advisor Balanced Fund and VIP: Balanced Portfolio.

Mr. Rakers joined Fidelity as an equity research analyst in 1993, and followed the restaurant, precious metals and coal industries. Mr. Rakers managed Fidelity Select Gold Portfolio from 1995 to 1997 and managed Fidelity Select Precious Metals and Minerals Portfolio and Fidelity Select Paper and Forest Products Portfolio from 1996 to 1997. He managed Fidelity Select Energy Portfolio, Fidelity Select Natural Resources Portfolio and Fidelity Advisor Natural Resources Fund, and served as sector leader of Fidelity's natural resources equity research group from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Rakers managed Fidelity Select Computers Portfolio and Fidelity Advisor Technology Portfolio from January 2000 and Fidelity Select Technology Portfolio from February 2000 until June 2001. He was also technology sector leader from January 2000 to June 2001. Mr. Rakers also managed Fidelity Convertible Securities Fund from June 2001 until February 2002, when he assumed management responsibility for Fidelity Balanced Fund. He began managing Fidelity Advisor Balanced Fund and VIP: Balanced Portfolio in June 2005.

Before joining Fidelity, Mr. Rakers was a project engineer for Loral Corporation in Lexington, Massachusetts, from 1986 to 1993.

Born in 1963, Mr. Rakers received bachelor of science and master of science degrees in metallurgical engineering from the University of Illinois in 1985 and 1987 respectively. He also received an MBA from Northeastern University in 1993.

Thomas Sprague
Retired Portfolio Manager and Investor
Thomas Sprague has been involved with the stock market for the past 20 years. As an analyst at Fidelity, he was responsible for stock picks in a wide variety of industries, from technology to leisure to steel. As a portfolio manager there he managed up to $12 billion in several retail mutual funds and institutional retirement portfolios, emphasizing a growth style of investing. Although no longer at Fidelity, he maintains an active interest in stock picking, and helps out several not-for-profit organizations with their investment decisions in addition to actively running his personal portfolio.

Sprague's work experience includes sixteen years at Fidelity Investments, where he served, successively, as equity analyst, equity portfolio manager, and group leader; and eight years as an industrial engineer at Eastman Kodak. He serves as the finance committee chair for the board of managers of Sturdy Hospital in Attleboro, Mass.; the investment committee chair for the board of pensions of the Evangelical Covenant Church in Chicago; and on the board of directors of the Covenant Trust Company in Chicago.

Sprague earned his BS in operations research and industrial engineering at Cornell University in 1979, and his MBA in finance at the Wharton School in 1989.
